भ्राता मम समर्थक्षु वासवेन च संगत: । वर्तते याजने चैव तेन कर्माणि कारय,“मेरे भाई बृहस्पति इस कार्यमें पूर्णतः समर्थ हैं। आजकल इन्द्रके साथ उनका मेलजोल बढ़ा हुआ है। वे उनके यज्ञ करानेमें लगे रहते हैं। अतः उन्हींसे अपने सारे यज्ञकर्म कराओ

Transliteration

bhrātā mama samarthakṣu vāsavena ca saṅgataḥ | vartate yājane caiva tena karmāṇi kāraya ||

Translation

அவன் கூறினான்—“என் சகோதரன் (பிருஹஸ்பதி) இக்காரியத்தில் முழுத் திறன் உடையவன்; வாஸவனாகிய இந்திரனுடன் அவனுக்கு நெருங்கிய தொடர்பும் உள்ளது. அவன் யாகங்களை நடத்துவதிலேயே ஈடுபட்டிருக்கிறான்; ஆகவே உன் யாகக் கிரியைகள் அனைத்தையும் அவனாலேயே நடத்தச் செய்.”
