इत्युक्तो वासुदेवेन स बालो भरतर्षभ । शनै: शनैर्महाराज प्रास्पन्दत सचेतन:,भरतश्रेष्ठ) महाराज! भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णके ऐसा कहनेपर उस बालकमें चेतना आ गयी। वह धीरे-धीरे अंग-संचालन करने लगा

ity ukto vāsudevena sa bālo bharatarṣabha | śanaiḥ śanair mahārāja prāspandata sacetanaḥ ||

வாசுதேவன் இவ்வாறு கூறியதும், பாரதர்களில் சிறந்தவனே, அந்தக் குழந்தை உணர்வு பெற்றது. அரசே, அது மெதுவாக மெதுவாக தன் அங்கங்களை அசைக்கத் தொடங்கியது.
