पौत्रस्तव महाभागो जनिष्यति महामना: । पृथ्वीं सागरपर्यन्तां पालयिष्यति धर्मत:

Transliteration

pautras tava mahābhāgo janiṣyati mahāmanāḥ | pṛthvīṃ sāgaraparyantāṃ pālayiṣyati dharmataḥ |

Translation

ஓ குருசிறந்தவனே! உனக்கு மிகப் பாக்கியமிக்க, பெருமனத்தையுடைய ஒரு பேரன் பிறப்பான்; அவன் தர்மப்படி கடல் எல்லை வரை உள்ள பூமியனைத்தையும் காப்பான். ஆகவே, ஓ பகைவரை அடக்குபவனே, துயரை விட்டு விடு; இதில் மேலும் எண்ணத் தேவையில்லை—என் சொல் உண்மையாகும்।
