गौतम उवाच त्वत्प्रीतियुक्तेन मया गुरुशुश्रूषया तव । व्यतिक्रामन्महाकालो नावबुद्धो द्विजर्षभ
Gautama uvāca: tvat-prīti-yuktena mayā guru-śuśrūṣayā tava | vyatikrāman mahā-kālo nāvabuddho dvijarṣabha ||
கௌதமர் கூறினார்— ஓ இருபிறப்போரில் சிறந்தவனே! உன் குரு-சேவையால் என் உள்ளம் உன்பால் பேரன்பால் நிறைந்தது; ஆகவே இத்தனைப் பெருங்காலம் கடந்தும் அது எனக்குத் தெரியாமலேயே போயிற்று.
