Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
जग्राहाश्रूणि सुश्रोणी करेण पृथुलोचना । पितुर्नियोगाद् धर्मज्ञा शिरसावनता तदा
jagrāhāśrūṇi suśroṇī kareṇa pṛthulocanā | piturniyogād dharmajñā śirasāvanatā tadā ||
அப்போது மெலிந்த இடையுடனும் பெரிய கண்களுடனும் இருந்த அந்த உயர்குலப் பெண் தன் கையால் கண்ணீரைத் துடைத்தாள். தர்மம் அறிந்தவள், தந்தையின் ஆணையின்படி அப்போது தலை குனிந்து பணிந்தாள்.
