या मे सम्भावना तात त्वयि नित्यमवर्तत । अपि सा सफला तात कृता ते भरतान् प्रति
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yā me sambhāvanā tāta tvayi nityam avartata |
api sā saphalā tāta kṛtā te bharatān prati ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—குழந்தையே! உன்னைப் பற்றிய என் நம்பிக்கை எப்போதும் இதுவே: உன் முயற்சியால் கௌரவரும் பாண்டவரும் ஒற்றுமை பெறுவர் என்று. குழந்தையே! பரதவம்சத்தாரைச் சார்ந்த என் அந்த நம்பிக்கையை நீ நிறைவேற்றினாயா?
