Ethics of Non-attachment
य एवं वृत्तसम्पन्न: स मुनि: श्रेष्ठ उच्यते । जिस कामके करनेसे समाजके दूसरे लोग अनादर करें
ya evaṁ vṛttasampannaḥ sa muniḥ śreṣṭha ucyate |
வாயு கூறினார்—இத்தகைய ஒழுங்கமைந்த நடத்தையால் நிறைந்தவன் ‘சிறந்த முனி’ எனப் போற்றப்படுகிறான். அவன் செய்யும் செயலைக் காரணமாகக் கொண்டு சமூகத்தின் பிறர் அவமதித்தாலும், அவன் அமைதியுடன் எப்போதும் தர்மத்திற்கேற்ப அதையே செய்து கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும்; ஆனால் நல்லோரின் தர்மத்தை ஒருபோதும் இகழக் கூடாது. இவ்வாறு நடத்தைப் பூரணமுடையவனே உண்மையில் முதன்மை முனி.
