न पाणिपादचपलो न नेत्रचपलो मुनि: । न च वागड्भचपल इति शिष्टस्य गोचर:
Translation
சிந்தனையுடைய இல்லறத்தான் கை-கால், கண், வாக்கு, உடல் ஆகியவற்றின் அலைச்சலையும் துறக்க வேண்டும்—அவற்றால் எந்தத் தவறான செயலும் நிகழாதபடி காக்க வேண்டும். இதுவே சிஷ்டர்களின் நடத்தை எனப்படும்.
