राज्ञां हि विषये येषामवसीदन्ति साधव: । हीनास्ते स्वगुणै: सर्व: प्रेत्य चोन््मार्गगामिन:
rājñāṃ hi viṣaye yeṣām avasīdanti sādhavaḥ | hīnāste svaguṇaiḥ sarvaiḥ pretya conmārgagāminaḥ ||
எந்த அரசர்களின் நாட்டில் நல்லோர் துன்புறுகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் தம் அரசர்க்குரிய எல்லா நற்குணங்களையும் இழக்கிறார்கள்; மேலும் மரணத்திற்குப் பின் தவறான பாதையில் சென்றவர்களாய் கீழ்நிலையை அடைகிறார்கள்.
