Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
त्वग्घ्राणश्रोत्रचक्षूंषि रसना वाक् च संयता: । विशुद्धं च मनो यस्य बुद्धिश्चाव्यभिचारिणी
tvag-ghrāṇa-śrotra-cakṣūṃṣi rasanā vāk ca saṃyatāḥ | viśuddhaṃ ca mano yasya buddhis cāvyabhicāriṇī ||
வாயு கூறினான்—தோல் (ஸ்பரிசம்), மூக்கு (கந்தம்), காது (ச்ரவணம்), கண் (தரிசனம்), நாக்கு (ருசி) மற்றும் வாக்கு—இவை அடக்கப்பட்டு, மனம் தூய்மையடைந்து, புத்தி தன் உறுதியான தீர்மானத்திலிருந்து சலிக்காதவனோ—அவன் அந்த மங்களமான பிரம்மத்தை அடைகிறான்; அதற்கு மேல் வேறொன்றில்லை.
