स्वाहाकारो नमस्कार: स्वधाकारो वषट्क्रिया । याजनाध्यापने चोभे यजनाध्ययने अपि

Transliteration

svāhākāro namaskāraḥ svadhākāro vaṣaṭkriyā | yājanādhyāpane cobhe yajanādhyayane api

Translation

வாயு கூறினார்—‘ஸ்வாஹா’ எனும் உச்சரிப்பு வணக்கச் செயல்; ‘ஸ்வதா’ எனும் உச்சரிப்பும் அத்தகைய யாகச் செயல்; ‘வஷட்’ அழைப்பும் அதுபோலவே. யாஜனம் மற்றும் போதித்தல்—இரண்டும்; மேலும் யாகம் செய்தல் மற்றும் வேதம் பயிலுதல்—இவையும்—தர்மமான புனிதக் கடமைகளாக அறியப்படுகின்றன.
