Transliteration

panthānaṃ vaḥ pravakṣyāmi śivaṃ kṣemakaraṃ dvijāḥ | niyataṃ brahmabhāvāya gata-pūrva-manīṣibhiḥ ||

Translation

ஓ இருமுறைப் பிறந்தவர்களே! மங்களமும் நலனும் தரும் ஒரு பாதையை நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். அது பிரம்மநிலையை அடைவதற்கான உறுதியான சாதனம்; பழங்கால ஞானிகள் நடந்த வழி. கவனத்துடன் கேளுங்கள்.
