वायुदेव उवाच तस्मै सम्प्रतिपन्नाय यथावत् परिपृच्छते । शिष्याय गुणयुक्ताय शान्ताय प्रियवर्तिने
vāyudeva uvāca: tasmai sampratipannāya yathāvat paripṛcchate | śiṣyāya guṇayuktāya śāntāya priyavartine ||
வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்— முழுமையாக குருவின் சரணடைந்து, முறையாகக் கேள்வி கேட்ட, குணமுடைய, அமைதியான, குருவுக்கு இனிய செயல்களைச் செய்த அந்தச் சீடனுக்கு ஆசான் தக்கவாறு பதிலளித்தார்.
