जनक–ब्राह्मणसंवादः
Viṣaya, Mamatva, and Self-Mastery
सोअन्यस्य विषये राज्ञो वस्तुमिच्छाम्यहं विभो | वचस्ते कर्तुमिच्छामि यथाशास्त्रं महीपते
so 'nyasya viṣaye rājño vastum icchāmy ahaṃ vibho | vacas te kartum icchāmi yathāśāstraṃ mahīpate ||
பிராமணன் கூறினான்—“ஓ வல்லமைமிக்க அரசே! இதை அறிந்தபின் நான் மற்றொரு அரசனின் நாட்டில் வாழ விரும்புகிறேன்; ஆயினும், ஓ பூமிபாலகா, சாஸ்திர விதிப்படி உமது ஆணையையும் நிறைவேற்ற விரும்புகிறேன்.”
