सप्तहोतृ-विधानम् एवं इन्द्रिय–मनःसंवादः

The Seven Hotṛs and the Debate of Senses and Mind

अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । इन्द्रियाणां च संवादं मनसश्लैव भामिनि,भामिनि! इस विषयमें इन्द्रियों और मनके संवादरूप एक प्राचीन इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया जाता है

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | indriyāṇāṁ ca saṁvādaṁ manasaś caiva bhāmini ||

அழகியவளே! இவ்விஷயத்திலும் ஒரு பழங்கால இதிகாச உதாரணம் கூறப்படுகிறது—புலன்களுக்கும் மனத்திற்கும் நடந்த உரையாடல். இந்த உவமை இக்கருத்தை விளக்கவே எடுத்துரைக்கப்படுகிறது.
