प्रत्यब्रुवं महाबाहो यथाश्रुतमरिंदम । शत्रुदमन महाबाहु माधव! उस ब्राह्मणके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर मैंने जैसा सुना था वैसा ही उसे बताया
pratyabruvaṃ mahābāho yathāśrutam ariṃdama | śatrudamana mahābāhu mādhava! |
ஓ மகாபாகுவே, ஓ அரிந்தமனே! நான் கேட்டதுபோலவே பதிலளித்தேன். ஓ மாதவா! அந்தப் பிராமணன் இவ்வாறு என்னைக் கேட்டபோது, நான் அவனுக்கு யதாகேட்ட—மாற்றமின்றி—விவரத்தைச் சொன்னேன்.
