Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते दीनमनस: सर्वे देवता ऋषयश्न ये । प्रजग्मु: शरण देवं ब्रह्माणमजरं विभुम्,वे सब देवता और ऋषि दीनचित्त हो अजर-अमर एवं सर्वव्यापी देवता भगवान् ब्रह्माकी शरणमें गये
te dīna-manasaḥ sarve devatā ṛṣayaś ca ye | prajagmuḥ śaraṇaṃ devaṃ brahmāṇam ajaraṃ vibhum ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—மனம் தளர்ந்த தேவர்கள் மற்றும் முனிவர்கள் அனைவரும், அஜரனும் அனைத்திலும் நிறைந்தவனுமான பிரம்மதேவனைச் சரணடைந்து, அந்தத் துன்பக் கணத்தில் பாதுகாப்பும் வழிகாட்டுதலும் வேண்டினர்.
