शास्त्रप्रामाण्यसूक्ष्मं तु विधिं पिण्डस्य संस्मरन्‌ | ततो दर्भेषु तत्‌ सर्वमदर्द भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

śāstraprāmāṇyasūkṣmaṃ tu vidhiṃ piṇḍasya saṃsmaran | tato darbheṣu tat sarvam adarda bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— சாஸ்திர ஆதாரமுடைய பிண்டதானத்தின் நுண்ணிய விதியை நினைத்து, ஓ பரதவृषபனே, கண்முன் தோன்றியதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படையாமல், விதிப்படி அந்தப் பிண்டங்கள் அனைத்தையும் தர்பை (குசை) புல்மேலே அர்ப்பணித்தேன்.
