Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)
मनसा चिन्तिता भोगास्त्वया वै दिव्यमानुषा: । यच्च स्वर्गे सुखं देवि तत् ते सम्पत्स्यते शुभे
manasā cintitā bhogās tvayā vai divya-mānuṣāḥ | yac ca svarge sukhaṃ devi tat te sampatsyate śubhe ||
தேவி! மங்களமூர்த்தியே! நீ மனத்தில் எண்ணும் தெய்வீகமோ மனிதமோ ஆகிய இன்பங்கள், மேலும் சொர்க்கத்தில் உள்ள எந்தச் சுகமோ—அவை அனைத்தும் உனக்குத் தானாகவே வந்து சேரும்.
