श्रीरवाच लोककान्तास्मि भद्ठ व: श्रीर्नामाहं परिश्रुता । मया दैत्या: परित्यक्ता विनष्टा: शाश्वती: समा:

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca—lokakāntāsmī bhadraṃ vaḥ; śrīr nāmāhaṃ pariśrutā. mayā daityāḥ parityaktā vinaṣṭāḥ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ.

Translation

ஸ்ரீ (லக்ஷ்மி) கூறினாள்—பசுக்களே, உங்களுக்கு நலம் உண்டாகுக. நான் உலகங்களின் பிரியமானவள்; ‘ஸ்ரீ’ என்ற பெயரால் எங்கும் புகழ்பெற்றவள். நான் தைத்யர்களை விட்டு நீங்கியதால் அவர்கள் நித்திய காலத்திற்கு அழிந்தனர்.
