अध्यापयेरन् शिष्यान् वै गोमतीं यज्ञसम्मिताम् | त्रिरात्रोपोषितो भूत्वा गोमतीं लभते वरम्
adhyāpayeyur śiṣyān vai gomatiṁ yajñasammitām | trirātropoṣito bhūtvā gomatiṁ labhate varam |
அவர்கள் சீடர்களுக்கு யாகத்துக்கு ஒப்பான கோமதி-வித்யையைப் போதிக்கட்டும். மூன்று இரவுகள் உபவாசமிருந்து கோமதி மந்திரத்தை ஜபிப்பவன் பசுக்களின் வரத்தைப் பெறுவான்.
