Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
इदं गवां प्रभवविधानमुत्तमं पठन् सदाशुचिरपि मंगलप्रिय: । विमुच्यते कलिकलुषेण मानव: श्रियं सुतान् धनपशुमाप्तुयात् सदा
idam gavāṁ prabhavavidhānam uttamaṁ paṭhan sadāśucir api maṅgalapriyaḥ | vimucyate kalikaluṣeṇa mānavaḥ śriyaṁ sutān dhana-paśum āptuyāt sadā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—பசுக்களின் தோற்றமும் அவற்றின் மெய்ம்மையும் கூறும் இந்தச் சிறந்த வரலாற்றை எவன் எப்போதும் பாராயணம் செய்கிறானோ, அவன் சடங்கு-தூய்மை இல்லாவிட்டாலும் மங்களத்தை நேசிப்பவனாகிறான். கலியுகக் கலங்கலிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு, எப்போதும் பிள்ளைகள், செல்வம், பொருள், கால்நடைச் செல்வம் ஆகியவற்றைப் பெறுகிறான்.
