Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
अमृतेनावसिक्तस्त्वं नोच्छिष्टं विद्यते गवाम् । यथा हामृतमादाय सोमो विस्यन्दते पुन:
amṛtenāvasiktas tvaṃ nocchiṣṭaṃ vidyate gavām | yathā hāmṛtam ādāya somo visyandate punaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—நீ அமிர்தத்தால் அபிஷேகிக்கப்பட்டவன்; ஆகையால் பசுக்களில் ‘உச்சிஷ்டம்’ (மிச்சம்/அசுத்த அவசேஷம்) இல்லை. அமிர்தத்தை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டு சோமன் மீண்டும் வழிந்தோடுவது போல.
