Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
अश्वमेधसहस्रं च सत्यं च तुलया धृतम् । अश्वमेधसहस्राद्धि सत्यमेव विशिष्यते
aśvamedhasahasraṃ ca satyaṃ ca tulayā dhṛtam | aśvamedhasahasrād dhi satyam eva viśiṣyate ||
தராசின் ஒரு தட்டில் ஆயிரம் அசுவமேத யாகங்களின் புண்ணியத்தையும், மற்றொரு தட்டில் வெறும் உண்மையையும் வைத்தால், ஆயிரம் அசுவமேதங்களைவிட உண்மையின் தட்டே கனமாகும்; ஏனெனில் உண்மையே மேலானது.
