Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
ऋषीणां सर्वलोकेषु यानि ते यान्ति देवता: । दमेन यानि नृपते गच्छन्ति परमर्षय:
ṛṣīṇāṃ sarvalokeṣu yāni te yānti devatāḥ | damena yāni nṛpate gacchanti paramarṣayaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அரசே, எல்லா உலகங்களிலும் தேவர்கள் அடையும் தெய்வீக நிலைகளை, அதே நிலைகளைப் பரமரிஷிகள் தமம் (இந்திரியக் கட்டுப்பாடு) மூலம் அடைகிறார்கள். ஆகவே, இந்திரிய வெற்றி மற்றும் ஒழுங்கான நடத்தையே உயர்ந்த ஆன்மிக இலக்கிற்கான நேரடி வழி என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
