गोप्रदानगुणाः तथा कपिलागोविधानम्

दत्त्वा धेनुं सुव्रतां साधुदोहां कल्याणवत्सामपलायिनीं च । यावन्ति रोमाणि भवन्ति तस्या- स्तावन्ति वर्षाणि भवन्त्यमुत्र
dattvā dhenuṃ suvratāṃ sādhudohāṃ kalyāṇavatsām apalāyinīṃ ca | yāvanti romāṇi bhavanti tasyās tāvanti varṣāṇi bhavanty amutra ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— ஒழுக்கமுடைய, எளிதில் நன்றாகப் பால் கறக்க இயலும், அழகிய கன்றுடைய, கட்டை அறுத்து ஓடாத பசுவைத் தானமாக அளிப்பவன், அந்தப் பசுவின் உடலில் எத்தனை முடிகள் உள்ளனவோ அத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் பரலோகத்தில் இன்பம் அனுபவிப்பான்.
