गोप्रदान-माहात्म्ये गोलोक-प्रश्नः

स हि तादृग्गुणस्तेन तुल्यो5ध्ययनजन्मना । अपत्येषु तथा वृत्ते समस्तेनैव धीमता
sa hi tādṛg-guṇas tena tulyo 'dhyayana-janmanā | apatyeṣu tathā vṛtte samastenaiva dhīmatā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“ஏனெனில் அவனும் அதே போன்ற குணங்களைக் கொண்டவன்—வேதப் பயில்விலும் பிறப்பிலும் அவனுக்கு இணை. பிள்ளைகள் பற்றியதிலும் நிலையான ஒழுக்கத்திலும் அந்த ஞானியுடன் முழுமையாக ஒப்பானவன்.”
