Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: dahyamānāya viprāya yaḥ prayacchaty upānahau | yat phalaṁ tasya bhavati tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||

Translation

யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—பிதாமஹா! வெயிலின் வெப்பத்தால் கால்கள் எரிகின்ற பிராமணனுக்கு யார் பாதரட்சை (செருப்பு) தானம் செய்கிறாரோ, அவருக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பலன் என்ன? அதை எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
