Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
तस्मात् तांस्ते प्रवक्ष्यामि तडागे ये गुणा: स्मृता: । या च तत्र फलावाप्तिऋषिभि: समुदाहता
tasmāt tāṁs te pravakṣyāmi taḍāge ye guṇāḥ smṛtāḥ | yā ca tatra phalāvāptir ṛṣibhiḥ samudāhṛtā ||
ஆகையால், குளம் பற்றிச் ச்மிருதிகளில் கூறப்பட்ட நற்குணங்களையும், அங்கிருந்து கிடைக்கும் பலனை ரிஷிகள் அறிவித்தபடியும்—அவற்றை எல்லாம் உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.
