Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
अथवा मित्रसदन मैत्र॑ मित्रविवर्धनम् । कीर्तिसंजनन श्रेष्ठ तडागानां निवेशनम्
athavā mitra-sadanaṁ maitraṁ mitra-vivardhanam | kīrti-sañjananaṁ śreṣṭhaṁ taḍāgānāṁ niveśanam ||
அல்லது குளங்களும் நீர்த்தேக்கங்களும் அமைத்தல் நண்பனின் இல்லத்தை நிறுவுவது போலப் பெரும் உபகாரம்; அது நட்பை வளர்க்கும் காரணம், நண்பர் வட்டத்தைப் பெருக்கும், நல்ல புகழை பரப்பும் சிறந்த வழி.
