Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
तस्या: क्षेत्रविशेषाश्व॒ तडागानां च बन्धनम् । औदकानि च सर्वाणि प्रवक्ष्याम्यनुपूर्वश:
tasyāḥ kṣetraviśeṣāś ca taḍāgānāṃ ca bandhanam | audakāni ca sarvāṇi pravakṣyāmy anupūrvaśaḥ ||
இப்போது நான் முறையே நிலத்தின் பலவகைகளும் அவற்றின் சிறப்புப் புலங்களும், குளங்கள் அமைத்தலும் கரை/அணை கட்டுதலும், மேலும் கிணறு முதலிய எல்லா நீர்ப்பணிகளும்—இவற்றின் அவசியமான விதிகளை விளக்குவேன்।
