शय्यासनानि यानानि योगयुक्ते तपोधने । अन्निप्रवेशे नियतं ब्रह्मलोके महीयते

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

śayyāsanāni yānāni yogayukte tapodhane |

agnipraveśe niyataṁ brahmaloke mahīyate ||

Translation

வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— யோகத்தில் ஒழுங்குபட்டும் தவச்செல்வம் நிறைந்தும் உள்ள தவசியுக்கு படுக்கை, இருக்கை, வாகனங்கள் கிடைக்கும். மேலும் விதிமுறையுடன் அக்னியில் பிரவேசிப்பவன் (விரதமாக) பிரம்மலோகத்தில் மதிக்கப்படுவான்—பிரம்மாவின் உலகில் உயர்ந்த பெருமை பெறுவான்.
