सुकुमारौ च तौ विद्धौ कराभ्यां मुनिसत्तम: । पस्पर्शामृतकल्पाभ्यां स्नेहाद्‌ भरतसत्तम

Transliteration

sukumārau ca tau viddhau karābhyāṃ munisattamaḥ | pasparśāmṛtakalpābhyāṃ snehād bharatasattama ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— அந்த இரு மென்மையானோர் காயமடைந்ததைப் பார்த்த மாமுனிவர், பாசத்தால் அமுதம் போன்ற ஆறுதலளிக்கும் இரு கரங்களால் அவர்களின் முதுகை மெதுவாகத் தடவி ஆற்றினார், ஓ பரதசிறந்தவனே।
