Cyavana Explains His Tests; Kuśika Seeks Brāhmaṇya for His Line (च्यवन–कुशिक संवादः)
सत्कृत्य तं तथा विप्रमिदं पुनरथाब्रवीत् । भगवन् परवन्न्तौ स्वो ब्रूहि किं करवावहे
satkṛtya taṃ tathā vipram idaṃ punar athābravīt | bhagavan paravantau svaḥ brūhi kiṃ karavāvahe ||
இவ்வாறு அந்த பிராமணரிஷியை முறையாகச் சத்கரித்து அவர்கள் மீண்டும் கூறினர்—“பகவனே! நாங்கள் கணவன்-மனைவி இருவரும் உங்கள் ஆணைக்குட்பட்டவர்கள். சொல்லுங்கள், உங்களுக்கு எத்தகைய சேவையைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்?”
