Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
भीष्म उवाच महर्षेरवचनं श्रुत्वा नहुषो दुःखकर्शित: । स चिन्तयामास तदा सहामात्यपुरोहित:
bhīṣma uvāca mahārṣer vacanaṃ śrutvā nahuṣo duḥkhakarśitaḥ | sa cintayāmāsa tadā sahāmātya-purohitaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—மஹரிஷியின் வாக்கை கேட்டதும், துயரால் சோர்ந்த நஹுஷன் மிகுந்த கலக்கமடைந்தான். அப்போது அவன் தன் அமைச்சர்களும் குடும்பப் புரோகிதரும் உடன் கூடி, இனி என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று ஆலோசிக்கத் தொடங்கினான்.
