Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ
Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
त्वमेव दैवतै: सर्वे: पृच्छयसे धर्मसंशयात् । अतत्त्वं देवदेवानामाधिपत्ये प्रतिष्ठित:
tvam eva daivataiḥ sarvaiḥ pṛcchyase dharma-saṁśayāt | atattvaṁ deva-devānām ādhipatye pratiṣṭhitaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—தர்மத்தில் ஐயம் எழும்போது எல்லாத் தேவர்களும் உன்னிடமே கேட்கிறார்கள். ஆகவே நீ தேவர்களுக்கும் மேலான தேவர்களின் அரச பதவியில் நிலைபெற்றவன்; உண்மையையும் பொய்யையும் அறியும் விவேகமுடையவன்.
