Transliteration

kāśirājyaṃ tad adyaiva tvad-arthaṃ jīvitaṃ tathā | tyajeyaṃ bhava viśrabdhaḥ kapota na bhayaṃ tava ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— ஓ புறாவே! உன்னைப் பாதுகாக்க இன்றே காசி அரசையும், என் உயிரையும் கூடத் தியாகம் செய்வேன். நம்பிக்கையுடன் அச்சமின்றி இரு; இனி உனக்கு பயமில்லை.
