Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
एवमेतत् परं स्थान ब्राह्म॒ण्यं नाम भारत । तच्च दुष्प्रापमिह वै महेन्द्रवचनं यथा
evam etat paraṁ sthānaṁ brāhmaṇyaṁ nāma bhārata | tac ca duṣprāpam iha vai mahendravacanaṁ yathā ||
ஓ பாரதா! அப்படியே தான்—‘பிராமண்யம்’ எனப்படும் நிலையே உன்னதமான இடம்; மகேந்திரன் கூறியபடி, இவ்வாழ்விலேயே பிற வர்ணத்தார்க்கு அதை அடைவது உண்மையிலேயே அரிது.
