दुर्वासा जमदन्निश्चव मार्कण्डेयोडथ गालव: । भरद्वाजो<थ रैभ्यक्ष यवक्रीतस्त्रितस्तथा
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
durvāsā jamadagnis ca mārkaṇḍeyo ’tha gālavaḥ |
bharadvājo ’tha raibhyaś ca yavakrītaḥ tritas tathā ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—(அவர்களுள்) துர்வாசர், ஜமதக்னி, மார்கண்டேயர், பின்னர் காலவர்; பரத்வாஜர் மற்றும் ரைப்யர்; யவக்ரீதர், அதுபோல த்ரிதரும் இருந்தனர்.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
By enumerating revered sages, the text underscores that dharma is preserved and transmitted through realized teachers; their reputations—ascetic discipline, learning, and moral force—serve as ethical reference points for society and kingship.
