इदं मेध्यमिदं पुण्यमिदं स्वर्ग्यमनुत्तमम् । इदं रहस्यं वेदानामाप्लाव्यं पावनं तथा
idaṁ medhyam idaṁ puṇyam idaṁ svargyam anuttamam | idaṁ rahasyaṁ vedānām āplāvyaṁ pāvanaṁ tathā
அஜத்ரியன் கூறினான்—இது தூய்மையளிப்பது; இது புண்ணியமளிப்பது; இது சொர்க்கத்தை அடைய ஒப்பற்ற வழி. இது வேதங்களின் மறைபொருள்—ஸ்நானம் போல உள்ளத்தை முழுதும் கழுவி, புனிதமாக்குவது.
