Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
कलविड्क उपस्पृश्य विद्याच्च बहुशो जलम् | अग्ने: पुरे नर: स्नात्वा अग्निकन्यापुरे वसेत्
Kalaviḍka upaspṛśya vidyāc ca bahuśo jalam | Agneḥ pure naraḥ snātvā agnikanyāpure vaset ||
கலவிட்க தீர்த்தத்தில் சுத்திகரித்து, மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நீரால் ஆச்சமனம் செய்து கொண்டால் பல தீர்த்தங்களில் நீராடியதற்குச் சமமான புண்ணியம் கிடைக்கும். மேலும் அக்னேஹ்-புரத்தில் நீராடும் மனிதன் அக்னிகன்யாபுரத்தில் வாசம் பெறுவான்।
