Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
अपां हृद उपस्पृश्य वाजिमेधफलं लभेत् | ब्रह्मचारी जितक्रोध: सत्यसंधस्त्वहिंसक:
apāṁ hṛda upaspṛśya vājimedha-phalaṁ labhet | brahmacārī jitakrodhaḥ satyasaṁdhas tv ahiṁsakaḥ |
பிரம்மச்சாரியாக இருந்து, கோபத்தை வென்று, சத்தியவிரதனாகவும் அஹிம்சை நெறியாளனாகவும் இருந்து ‘அபாம் ஹ்ருத்’ (சலிலஹத) தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடினால், அவன் அசுவமேத யாகத்தின் பலனைப் பெறுவான்।
