एते पूर्व विनिर्दिष्टा: प्रोक्ता निरयगामिन: । भागिन: स्वर्गलोकस्य वक्ष्यामि भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

ete pūrva-vinirdiṣṭāḥ proktā niraya-gāminaḥ | bhāginaḥ svarga-lokasya vakṣyāmi bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—இவர்கள் முன்பே நரகத்திற்குச் செல்லுவோர் எனக் குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லப்பட்டவர்கள். இப்போது, ஓ பரதகுலச் சிறந்தவனே, ஸ்வர்கலோகப் பங்குபெறுவோரைக் கூறுகிறேன்—கேள்.
