तीर्थवंशोपदेशः
Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
उदितास्तमितो यश्व तथैवास्तमितोदित: । अहिंस्नश्वाल्पदोषश्न स राजन् केतनक्षम:
uditāstamito yaśva tathaivāstamitoditaḥ | ahiṁsnaś cālpadoṣaś ca sa rājan ketanakṣamaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அரசே! உலக நிலையிலே ஒருபோது உயர்ந்து, ஒருபோது தாழ்ந்து, மீண்டும் உயர்ந்தாலும், எந்த உயிருக்கும் தீங்கு செய்யாத பிராமணன் சிறு குறைகள் இருந்தாலும் ஸ்ராத்தத்தில் அழைக்கத் தகுதியானவன்.
