Aṣṭāvakra and the Woman: Disclosure, Permission, and Marital Resolution (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय २२)
अद्टावक्र उवाच हरन्ति दोषजातानि नरं जात॑ यथेच्छकम् | प्रभवामि सदा धृत्या भद्रे स्वशयनं व्रज
aṣṭāvakra uvāca | haranti doṣajātāni naraṃ jātaṃ yathecchakam | prabhavāmi sadā dhṛtyā bhadre svaśayanaṃ vraja |
அஷ்டாவக்ரர் கூறினார்— பத்திரே! மனம் போனபடி நடக்கும் மனிதனைத்தான் குற்றங்களும் பாவங்களும் இழுத்துச் செல்கின்றன. நான் திடமான தன்னடக்கத்தால் எப்போதும் என்னை ஆள்கிறேன்; ஆகவே நீ உன் படுக்கைக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்.
