आभासुरा गन्धपा धूमपाश्च वाचा विरुद्धाश्ष मनोविरुद्धा: । शुद्धाश्न निर्माणरताश्च देवा: स्पर्शाशना दर्शपा आज्यपाक्ष
ābhāsurā gandhapā dhūmapāś ca vācā-viruddhāś ca mano-viruddhāḥ | śuddhāś ca nirmāṇa-ratāś ca devāḥ sparśāśanā darśanapā ājyapāś ca ||
வாயு கூறினார்— சில ஒளிமிக்க தெய்வக் கூட்டங்கள் மணத்தையும் புகையையும் ‘உண்டு’ வாழ்கின்றன. சிலர் சாதாரண பேச்சிற்கும் சாதாரண சிந்தனைக்கும் முரணான நிலையிலேயே இருப்பவர்கள். சில தூய தேவர்கள் படைப்பு-ஒழுங்கமைப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபட்டிருப்பர். சிலர் தொடுதலால் மட்டும் உணவுண்பர்; சிலர் பார்வையால் மட்டும் பானரசம் அருந்துவர்; சிலர் நெய் அருந்துவர்.
