तत्प्रसादान्मया प्राप्तं ब्राह्मुण्यं दुर्लभ महत् | तदनन्तर विश्वामित्रजीने कहा
tatprasādān mayā prāptaṃ brāhmaṇyaṃ durlabhaṃ mahat |
விசுவாமித்திரன் கூறினான்— “அவருடைய அருளால் நான் மகத்தானதும் மிக அரிதுமான பிராமணத்துவத்தை அடைந்தேன். அரசே! நான் க்ஷத்திரியனாக இருந்த காலத்திலேயே ‘நான் பிராமணனாக வேண்டும்’ என்ற உறுதியான சங்கல்பம் எனக்குள் எழுந்தது; அந்த நோக்கத்திற்காகவே நான் பகவான் சங்கரனை ஆராதித்தேன்; அவருடைய கிருபையால் இந்தக் கடினமாகப் பெறத்தக்க பிராமணத்துவத்தைப் பெற்றேன்।”
