Chapter 2: Sudarśana Upākhyāna — Atithi-Dharma and the Conquest of Mṛtyu
Gṛhastha-Vrata
तामब्रवीत् ततो विप्रो राजपुत्रीं सुदर्शनाम् । त्वया ममार्थ: कल्याणि निर्विशड्कैतदाचर
tām abravīt tato vipro rājaputrīṃ sudarśanām | tvayā mamārthaḥ kalyāṇi nirviśaṅkaitad āchara ||
அப்போது அந்த விப்ரன், காணத் தகுந்த அழகுடன் விளங்கிய அரசகுமாரி ஓகவதியை நோக்கி—“கல்யாணியே! என் நோக்கம் உன்னாலேயே நிறைவேறும். ஆகவே அஞ்சாமலும் ஐயமின்றியும் என் இந்தப் பிரியக் காரியத்தைச் செய்” என்றான்.
