उत्तरां दिशमश्रित्य य एधन्ते निबोध तान्
bhīṣma uvāca | uttarāṃ diśam āśritya ye edhante nibodha tān | ṛṣir ugraśravāś caiva bhārgavaś cyavanas tathā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—வடதிசையைச் சார்ந்து வளர்ச்சியும் மேன்மையும் அடைவோரைக் கேளுங்கள்—முனிவர் உக்ரஷ்ரவா; மேலும் ப்ருகுவம்சத்தார் ச்யவனரும்.
