स्नेहनो<स्नेहनश्वैव अजितश्न महामुनि: । वृक्षाकारो वृक्षकेतुरनलो वायुवाहन:
snehano ’snehanaś caiva ajitaśna mahāmuniḥ | vṛkṣākāro vṛkṣaketuranalo vāyuvāhanaḥ ||
வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்— அவர் அன்புடையவரும், பற்றற்றவரும்; வெல்ல முடியாத தன்னடக்கத்தையுடைய மகாமுனி. அவர் மரவடிவன்—உலகமரத்தின் உருவமே; மரம்போல் உயர்ந்த கொடியைத் தாங்குபவர்; அவர் அனலன்—அக்னியின் வடிவம்; மேலும் காற்றையே தன் வாகனமாகக் கொள்பவர்.
